Yvonne Nelson is a known name in the movie industry considering the roles she has played in building the industry to an international standard able to attract sponsors and some funding.

Yvonne Nelson has a Glaucoma Foundation which she set up to help fight the deadly optical disease. Not much is not heard about the foundation currently although it was meant to be a foundation to educate people about the deadly optical disease she said killed one of her relatives.
3. She Contested For Miss Ghana 2005

Yvonne Nelson was one of the contestants for the coveted Crown of Miss Ghana in 2005 but she lost out. However, her stellar performance at the pageantry won her Mis Photogenic and best talent award.
4. She is an old student of Aggrey Memorial and Central University College
