Ras Kuuku, a Ghanaian musician, recently shared his perspective on the current debate between Vice President Bawumia’s digitalization initiative and former President John Dramani Mahama’s proposal for a 24-hour economy.
Speaking on Onua TV during a studio discussion, Ras Kuuku expressed his interest in personally witnessing Mahama’s vision for a 24-hour economy.
The dancehall artist highlighted that while the digitalization effort is already underway in Ghana, the concept of a 24-hour economy has yet to be realized in the country. Ras Kuuku stated, “For digitalization, we have already been experiencing it. Ghana is gradually being digitized. But we haven’t seen the 24-hour economy before.”
He went on to express his desire to see Mahama implement the 24-hour economy so that he can witness it firsthand. Ras Kuuku’s comments add an interesting perspective to the ongoing discussions surrounding the country’s development strategies.
