The National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, has stressed the significance of maintaining peace throughout the voting process.
He said that if the elections are held in a transparent, free, and fair manner, peace will reign while on his Building Ghana Tour in Accra.
“Justice must prevail, but we want peace.” He remarked, “If you claim to want peace and you find out that someone is rigging the elections, you will not stand by and do nothing.”

He gave assurances that his party would not take any steps to tamper with the 2024 elections.
“I am telling you that NDC is a peaceful party, and we will play by the rules,” Mahama remarked. We are capable of winning the elections if everything is open, free, and fair, so we won’t do anything to tamper with the process.
He urged traditional leaders and other interested parties to make sure that the voting process is conducted fairly.
Mahama emphasized that when there is justice, there is peace and that in order to keep things from upsetting, any wrongdoing must be addresss.
