Janelle Brown, a star on Sister Wives, recently faced tragedy as her son, Garrison Brown, passed away at the young age of 25. Garrison, born on April 10, 1998, was Kody and Janelle Brown’s son, making him the eighth child for Kody and the fourth for Janelle.
Fans of the reality show may recognize Garrison from his appearances on the show, where his parents’ polygamist lifestyle was chronicled. Despite his parents’ divorce in 2023, Garrison had enlisted in the Nevada National Guard in 2015 and completed basic training in 2016.
However, by 2021, things had changed drastically for Garrison. He had distanced himself from his family and was not on speaking terms with his father, Kody. This strain in their relationship persisted until his untimely death.
On March 5, 2024, Flagstaff police responded to a call at Garrison’s Arizona home and found him deceased. Tragically, it was determined that Garrison had died from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. His brother Gabriel was the one who discovered his body at the scene.
Living with his two beloved cats, one of which he had adopted just five days prior to his passing, Garrison’s family and friends mourn the loss of a young life.
Janelle Brown, known for her role in Sister Wives, shared the heartbreaking news with her followers on Instagram, where she also opened up about facing a health scare with two lumps being removed from her face after being diagnosed with a carcinoma.
