Anthony Joshua popularly known as AJ has accepted Fury’s invitation to face off, clearing the way for the biggest boxing match in British history.

Tyson Fury, who is unwilling to wait for an undisputed match-up with Oleksandr Usyk next year, unexpectedly called out Joshua.

To take on the Gypsy King, AJ was given a 40% split of what would be a record-breaking UK payday. Initial plans were for a date in early November, but Joshua can’t participate in any competitive bout up until early December.

Fury also requests a rematch provision, and AJ’s team is willing to agree as long as they receive the majority of the prize money in the event that they triumph.

After a meeting with the organizers, the bout has been agreed upon by the fighters.

Usyk, who defeated Joshua twice in a span of 11 months, was the opponent Fury first intended to face. It would have been the first four-belt undisputed title match in the heavyweight category.
