Ghanaian rapper Strongman has expressed his disinterest in the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, stating that he is no longer focused on winning the prestigious award. Despite being nominated for the Best Rapper category for five consecutive years, Strongman has not been able to clinch the award and has now shifted his priorities away from the awards.

In an interview with Tony Best on Akoma Mmre on Akoma FM, Strongman explained that he has other more important matters to attend to than worrying about awards that continue to overlook his talent. He emphasized that he has submitted his works for scrutiny but has not received the recognition he believes he deserves. As a result, Strongman has decided to focus on things that make him happy and entertain his fans and supporters.

This decision comes as the music industry gears up for another music festival on June 1 at the AICC to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Premium Awards. Strongman’s stance on the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards underscores his commitment to his craft and his determination to succeed, regardless of accolades and recognition.

Fans and followers of Strongman can expect more music and entertainment from the talented rapper as he continues to pursue his passion and make a mark in the music industry.
