Teddy Gentry, a founding member of the musical group Alabama. He was born on January 22, 1952 (age 70 years), in Fort Payne, Alabama, United States. Alabama is one of the great country bands that has existed since 1969.
The group began in 1969 when Teddy, Randy Owen, and Jeff Cook won a local talent contest. The Alabama group had an original name and Country, but it later changed to Alabama in 1977.
Teddy Gentry is mostly known for his great skills with the bass guitar, not only does he play he is also a vocalist of the band.
