Ted Williams, born Theodore Fred Williams (born September 22, 1957) is an American announcer, radio personality, and voice-over artist. He is also known as The Man with the Golden Voice.
Williams, who was born in Brooklyn, New York, rose to prominence in the early 1980s as a late-night radio disc jockey on WVKO in Columbus, Ohio. Williams was fired from radio after more than a decade for drunkenness and drug misuse in 1994, and he quickly found himself homeless.
