Ghana’s gospel sensation, Team Eternity, wowed attendees at the Bethany Methodist Church hall in Dzorwulu, Accra, during the recent Xplo event organized by the church’s youth.
The event kicked off with a performance by the host choir, Bethany Choir, who set a lively atmosphere with their uplifting chorales. Following them, The Emeralds of Praise and Minister Kweku Teye led the audience in worship with their melodious and spirit-filled songs.
The Voice of Praise continued to captivate the crowd with renditions of old-school gospel classics, building up the anticipation for the highly sought-after group, Team Eternity, to take the stage.
Team Eternity’s performance was electrifying as they thrilled the audience with energetic songs like “yes sir” and ended the night on a high note with their hit song “Defe Defe.”
According to Nana Ama Aseidua Okyere, Chairperson of the organizing committee, Xplo was not just a night of celebration and music but also a fundraising event. The proceeds from the event will support the church’s prison evangelism efforts, bringing hope, redemption, and the message of God’s love to those in need.
Xplo is an annual event organized by the youth of the Bethany Methodist Church, with this year’s theme being “Growing in Christian Maturity.” It was a night filled with soul-stirring music, worship, and a reminder of the importance of spreading God’s love to all.
