Tang Nguyen is a very renounced actor and stuntman. He is currently 45 years old.
Nguyen was raised in Houston, Texas, and began learning martial arts when he was twelve years old. After making his debut in 1992’s action movie Sidekicks as a background player, he went to Orange County, Southern California, in 1996 and enrolled at Glendale Community College.
Soon after, Nguyen kept pursuing his love of acting and enrolled in acting workshops with teachers including James Hong, Priscilla Barnes, and Elizabeth Gamza. He obtained his Screen Actors Guild card in 1999. In addition to his athletic prowess and stunt abilities, he has a second-degree black belt in Kung Fu, Tae Kwon Do, Karate, and Kickboxing.
In the Star Trek: Voyager episode “Endgame,” which is from the seventh season, actor and stuntman Tang Nguyen portrayed a Starfleet cadet from the year 2501.
