A rapper was shot and killed after going to a private party with his bandmate and uncle Quavo, according to the most recent news.

Rapper Takeoff, a member of the group Migos, was shot and killed on Tuesday in Houston, Texas (1 November).

The rapper was 28 years old and went by the name Kirshnik Khari Ball.

At 40 individuals were attending a private party at 810 Billiards and Bowling Alley in downtown Houston when police were alerted to a shooting at around 2.34 am local time (7.34 am GMT).

Quavo, a member of the Migos, and Takeoff both attended. The altercation left Quavo, real name Quavious Keyate Marshall, unharmed. Offset, the third member of the Migos, was absent.

After a dice game, according to reports, an argument broke out and shots were fired. At the scene, Takeoff was determined to be deceased.

Fans and members of the music industry have expressed their sorrow over his passing, and tributes to the late rapper have flooded social media.

James Corden, Drake, SZA, Outkast, and Khloé Kardashian are just a few of the celebrities who have posted tributes to the artist.

No suspects have been detained as of yet, and Houston police chief Troy Finner is urging witnesses to “step up” and provide details about the incident.

Latabia Woodward, a hairstylist, gave birth to Kirshnik Khari Ball, who is best known by his stage name Takeoff, in Lawrenceville, Georgia.

Takeoff was raised by his mother, along with fellow Migos rappers Quavo and Offset when his father abandoned the family when he was still a child.
