Talented chef Tafari Campbell worked in the White House under President Obama and continued to cook for the Obamas after he left office in 2016.
He was well recognized for his love of cooking and had a big hand in developing certain well-known dishes, such as the White House honey brew beer that used honey from Michelle Obama’s beehive on the South Lawn.
Tragically, Tafari Campbell, who lived close to Obama’s Massachusetts home on Martha’s Vineyard, died at age 45 in a paddle boarding accident.
