Matt Kuchar has been a member of the PGA Tour since 2001 and has won many PGA Tour championships throughout that period.
Sybi Kuchar: What does Matt Kuchar’s wife do for a living?
Sybi has been highly involved in Kuchar’s professional career since 2003, even caddying for her husband and other Tour players on occasion. When Kuchar’s old caddy, John Wood, withdrew from the BMW Championship, the American went to his wife for comfort.
The duo won the consolation championship in the USTA National Husband/Wife Doubles Championship at the ATP Headquarters in 2009.
At the 2018 Mayakoba Classic, Sybi also caddied for Zach Johnson. When Johnson’s normal caddy became unwell, Sybi stepped in to help the American, who was partnered with her husband.
They met at Georgia Tech University, where Kuchar was a member of the golf squad and Sybi was a member of the tennis team.
The pair began dating in 2002 and married a year later.
They presently live in Georgia with their two kids, Cameron and Carson, who are also avid athletes.
