Suzanne Marie Somers, born October 16, 1946, is an American actress, author, singer, businesswoman, and health advocate. On television, she played Carol Foster Lambert on Step by Step and Chrissy Snow on Three’s Company.
Somers later became a self-help author. Ageless: The Naked Truth About Bioidentical Hormones (2006) was one of these, and it examined bioidentical hormone replacement therapy. She has four diet books, a poetry collection, and two memoirs to her credit.
Somers is most recognized for her work as an actress, but she is also a devoted mother. “Family is everything to me,” she remarked in an interview with Parade magazine. “I’m a busy grandmother who enjoys spending time with her grandchildren.”
