In a recent customer survey conducted by the consumer ratings organization Skytrax, the airport in Cape Town, South Africa has been named the best airport on the continent.
The airport, which is globally ranked 54th, has seen a drop in its position over the years, as it was ranked 23rd in 2020.
Following closely behind Cape Town in the continental listing are two other South African airports – Durban and Johannesburg, which claimed the second and third spots, respectively.
The airport in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa, snagged the seventh position in Africa, while Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport rounded off the list at 10th place.
