Ramesh Balwani is an American businessman who is the former president and chief operating officer of Theranos.
The 56 year old man is also known as former boyfriend of Elizabeth Holmes.
Balwani was born in Pakistan in 1965 to a Sindhi Hindu family that had immigrated to the United States.
He attended the University of Texas in Austin and majored in information systems.
Holmes was found guilty of defrauding clients or investors and is awaiting sentencing.
Balwani’s trial is scheduled to begin in March of 2022.
