Sulley Muntari, Agyeman Badu, Asamoah Gyan, others visit Christian Atsu’s family home

The death of the late Ghanaian winger Christian Atsu is something one can not forget in a hurry.

The 31 years old was found dead in his apartment for about a week after it was recovered from the rubble following an earthquake in Turkey on February 6, 2023.

Christian Atsu was trapped in his damaged building leading to his death and his body arrived in Ghana in the late hour of Sunday, February 19, 2023.

To show sympathy for the loss, some of the former Black Stars players were spotted at Christian Atsu’s family home. The players who were spotted are Sulley Muntari, Emmanuel Agyeman Badu, Asamoah Gyan, and Haminu Dramani visited to sympathize with them. The players also signed a book of condolence to record their condolences for the sudden death of their colleague.

The burial and funeral service for the player who has crowned the best player at the 2015 AFCON is yet to be announced by the family. We will update you on any new development regarding Atsu’s death.
