Socialite and actress Akuapem Poloo has disclosed that she couldn’t complete her junior high school education without the help of the chief of Suhum.
Akuapem Poloo was born and raised in Suhun, a town in the Eastern Region of Ghana. While schooling there, she faced some challenges in sorting out her academic needs.
However, a swift intervention of Nana Osaberima Ayeh Kofi II, the chief of Suhum, saved her from dropping out of school.
Akuapem Poloo showed gratitude to the chief when she last visited Suhum and paid homage to him. She revealed that the chief played a ‘great role’ in her life.
She shared a photo of herself kneeling before the chief with the caption: “Nana Osaberima Ayeh Kofi II the Chief of SUHUM. He played a great role in my life by giving me a scholarship to complete JHS I’m grateful Nana. May you live long my Chief.”
