Sue-Ellen Cassiana Braverman QC, the Attorney General for England and Wales since 2020, is a British politician and attorney.
She has been the Fareham Member of Parliament since 2015. She was a Conservative Party member who presided over the European Research Group from 19 June 2017 until 9 January 2018.

When Braverman was appointed Attorney General for England and Wales and Advocate General for Northern Ireland in February 2020, he was immediately made Queen’s Counsel.

In February 2018, he married Rael Braverman in the House of Commons. Their first kid was born in 2019, and their second child will be born in 2021.
Braverman visits the London Buddhist Centre on a regular basis as a member of the Triratna Buddhist Community (previously the Friends of the Western Buddhist Order). She embraced the Dhammapada as her oath of office.
Her mother ran for the Conservatives in the 2001 general election and the Brent East by-election in 2003.
