Stu Silver was born Stuart Norton Silver and was best known as an American screenwriter and television writer best known for such films and television series as Throw Momma from the Train, Webster, It’s a Living, Bosom Buddies, and Soap. Silver also wrote the first half of Good Morning, Vietnam.
Silver is also credited with acting and producing including the TV shows “It’s A Living” from 1980 to 1989, “Brothers” from 1984 to 1985, and “Good Grief from 1990 to 1991. He won two CableACE Awards for “Brothers” and “Comic Relief” and a Peoples Choice Award for “Webster.”
