Musician Stonebwoy has expressed his disappointment in the Ghanaian media for failing to give his ‘Epistles of Mama World Tour’ the necessary publicity and hype.
The “Bawasaba” hitmaker in a Twitter rant on Sunday (July) said the Ghanaian media and bloggers especially are interested in negative reportage other than the positive once hence making it difficult for artistes to ‘break grounds’.
He disclosed that other international artistes who performed shared the same stage with him at the just ended Summerjam Festival in Germany received good publicity from their respective countries but he had nothing similar in Ghana.
“It’s really interesting how I’m not seeing many of these bloggers posting these successes that Ghanaian artistes are striving to make.. @summerjam and other shows were well represented but u don’t see it is as much as much as the negative news,” he tweeted.

He continued: “I’m used to this by Now, and I know the key is to keep pushing..Good News May never surpass bad news! But I also know how pressured we are, as artistes to break grounds for our people yet if we try so hard it’s not heralded as much as he grounds that break Us!”

The Zylofon Media/Burniton Music Group label artiste further stated clearly that he isn’t ‘mad’ at any blogger but pleaded with them not to hide the “good and positive moves” by Ghanaian artistes on the world market.
