Livingstone Etse Satekla, known in showbiz circles as Stonebwoy Burniton has denied ordering Zylofon Media’s signage to be pulled down before he performed at the Hilla Limann Hall Week artiste night event held at the University of Ghana on Saturday, 10th March 2018.

In the past few hours, some sections of the media have been disseminating reports that the 2015 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) Artiste of the Year ordered Zylofon branded materials to be pulled down via his manager as a precondition for him to mount the stage to perform at the event which was held under the auspices of the Junior Common Room (J.C.R) of the Hilla Limann Hall, University of Ghana in collaboration with  Zylofon Media, and sponsored by Zylofon Cash.

This purported act, which Stonebwoy is alleged to have ordered to be executed, reportedly triggered Lawrence Hanson Asiamah, better known as Bulldog, who is in charge of Artiste & Repertoire at Zylofon Media to lead some men to Champs Bar, Stonebwoy’s next destination after performing at Legon. According to reports, the purpose of Bulldog going after Stonebwoy was in furtherance of an attempt to retrieve a vehicle given to Stonebwoy as part of his entitlements for signing unto Zylofon Music last year.

Below is a video which captures some men pulling down the Zylofon branded materials erected at the Hilla Limann Artiste Night venue:

However in an interview with King Lagazee on Hitz 103.9 FM, Stonebwoy denied the allegation which has been levelled against him.

“I did not instruct anybody to bring down Zylofon Media’s signage at Legon. I don’t know what went on behind the scene before and after I performed,” the Baafira hitmaker said.

The showbiz sector of the media landscape has been replete with reports which purport that Stonebwoy has parted ways with Zylofon media, barely 9 months after signing unto the record label. Official confirmations are however yet to be made in that regard by any of the parties involved.
