Sterling Kelby Brown is an American actor.
He is best known for his portrayal of Christopher Darden in the FX limited series The People v. O. J. Simpson: American Crime Story. He is also known for starring as Randall Pearson in the NBC drama series This Is Us from 2016 to 2022.

Sterling Kelby Brown was born on April 5, 1976, in St. Louis, Missouri to Sterling Brown and Aralean Brown. He is one of five children born to his parents and has two sisters and two brothers.
When he was 10 years old, his father passed away. During his childhood, he went by his middle name Kelby. According to him, his first name was too long and Kelby felt more like a child’s name.
When he turned 16, he resumed the usage of his name Sterling. He was raised in Olivette, Missouri, an inner-ring suburb of St. Louis. There, he attended the private Mary Institute and St. Louis Country Day School.
