Stephen “tWitch” Boss, a dancer who collaborated with Ellen DeGeneres as a DJ and guest presenter on her long-running talk show, passed away on December 14 at the age of 40, according to his wife Allison Holker.
His suicide was confirmed by E! News.
“It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to share that my husband Stephen has left us,” Holker said in a statement to E! News.
“Stephen lit up every room he stepped into. He valued family, friends, and community above all else, and leading with love and the light was everything to him. He was the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans.”
Through their social media posts throughout the years, Boss and Holker have shown snippets of their love story and family life. The pair uploaded a video of them dancing together to Alicia Keys’ Christmas album just a few days before his death.
