Stephen Lang’s roles in Manhunter (1986), Gettysburg (1993), Tombstone (1993), Gods and Generals (2003), Public Enemies (2009), and Don’t Breathe (2016) are the ones for which he is most well-known.
In addition to these roles, he has performed in numerous productions on Broadway. He was awarded the Tony Award for his performance in the 1992 production of The Speed of Murkiness and the Saturn Award for Best Supporting Entertainer for his performance in James Cameron’s Symbol. From 2004 to 2006, he served as the Actors Studio’s co-artistic director.
Lang appears in the AMC drama Into the Badlands about martial arts. He was commended for his job as The Visually impaired Man in Fede lvarez’s effective loathsomeness thrill ride Don’t Inhale (2016). He played the role again in Don’t Breathe 2, the 2021 sequel.
