Stanislav Horuna is a Ukrainian karate athlete. He specializes in kumite (75 kg). He was born in Lviv on March 1, 1989.
Horuna was a bronze medalist in both the individual and team categories at the 2018 European Championships.
He is a member of the Ukrainian national team’s captaincy. According to the IWGA, he came in second place in the poll for Athlete of the Year 2019.
He has won several award in his line of work since 2017 including a six-time Ukrainian karate champion, silver medalist at the European Championships in 2017 in individual category and bronze medalist in team category in kumite.
He won the bronze medalist at the World Championships in 2014 in kumite as a well.
He is a Ukrainian soldier as of March 2022, following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.
