Aleksandr Shirvindt, a well known Russian stage and film actor, screenwriter and voice actor born on 19 July 1934 suddenly passed away on 15 March 2024 at the age of 89.

Born in Moscow, Aleksandr Shirvindt was the son of Raisa Samoilovna Shirvindt (1898–1985), a member of the Moscow Philharmonic Society, and musician Anatoly Gustavovich Shirvindt (1896–1962). Having graduated from Vilnius 1st Gymnasium in 1881, my grandfather Gustav (Gedaliah) Moiseyevich Shirvindt worked as a physician.
Aleksandr Shirvindt was married to Natalya Nikolaevna Belousova with three children. However, personal details and names of his children are out of reach.
