Spider-Man: No Way Home star Tom Holland has disclosed a stunt trick in movies that could save many short actors from shattering their kneecaps.

Tom Holland, 25, disclosed this during an interview with Zendaya, 25, The Graham Norton Show, over the weekend.

Tom and Zendaya were discussing how their heights conflicted with each other while on set of Spider-Man: No Way Home movie.

During the interview, the celebrity couple, who on Sunday graced the London photocall red carpet together for the first time since confirming their relationship, poked joke at each other about their height difference.

“I heard you talking somewhere in there how your height difference makes those stunts more complicated,” Graham Norton asked both casts.

In a hilarious response, Tom answered: “Thank you, Graham. Now, that’s a good story.”

Zendaya instead offered more details on how their height came into conflict on the movie set.

“It’s a good story,” Zendaya noted. “Well, you see, there’s a particular stunt – I don’t know if it’s in this – but there is. A Spider-Man swings off a bridge and he places me there and we eventually jump off of that and I’m screaming.”

“So, he is supposed to gently, you know, rest MJ [Zendaya] on the bridge and walk away from her. It’s because of our height difference, I obviously, if we are on the same point we were attached, would land before him. Because my feet obviously hit the ground before he does. So, what would happen?”

Tom Holland then disclosed that there’s a stunt called ‘bottom mark’ which says short actors from shattering their kneecaps.

“There’s [talking about the type of stunt Zendaya was trying to refer to]. It’s called the bottom mark, isn’t it? And the bottom mark is to basically a thing they do in stunts that is basically designed to stop you shattering your kneecaps,” he disclosed.
