Souad Adel Faress is a British actress who has worked in radio, television, and theater. Her popularity has soared in recent times after her portrayal of the High Priestess of the Dosh Khaleen in the sixth season of the HBO series Game of Thrones.
She had previously landed a role as the character Maryam Shakiba, Jay Faldren’s grandmother, on Casualty from 2010 and 2011.
She also featured in the nurse drama No Angels, where she played the aunt of the main character, Anji Mittel. Faress had a brief appearance as a hospital doctor in the season premiere of Inspector Morse.
