Sophia Crawford, a martial artist, actress, and stuntwoman, was born on May 19, 1966, in Hammersmith, London, United Kingdom. On the first four seasons of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, she served as Sarah Michelle Gellar’s stunt double.

She also tied the knot with “Buffy” stunt coordinator Jeff Pruitt in 1998. She is also well-known for her work on Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers and for playing “Chameleon,” one of the fighters on WMAC Masters. In the 1996 film Sword of Honor, she shared the screen with Steven Vincent Leigh. In the 2006 film Poseidon, she also filled in for Fergie. The American superhero television series Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (MMPR) debuted on the Fox Kids programming block on August 28, 1993. It is the first installment of the Power Rangers franchise, and it, along with a huge selection of toys, action figures, and other merchandise, became a pop culture phenomenon in the 1990s. The show used stock footage from the Kyry Sentai Zyuranger (1992–1993) Japanese TV series, the 16th entry in Toei’s Super Sentai series.
