Social media fumes over Allotey Jacobs’ arrest saga

After the British High Commissioner to Ghana, Jon Benjamin denied reports that the Central Regional Chairman of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), Allotey Jacobs was been arrested in the UK, some Ghanaians took to their respective social media pages to put their spin on the matter.

The outspoken NDC member came under heavy criticisms after some reports suggested that he was busted at the Heathrow Airport on Sunday (May 29) by the UK National Crime Agency on suspected money laundering and cocaine trafficking.

Though, reports have vindicated the NDC Chairman, social media didn’t shut up on the viral issue.
