Swedu-based hit maker, Patapaa Amisty has once again demonstrated his potency to go viral with his outputs. He made an appearance on the mainstream scene of the music industry barely 2 years ago when he released a hit record, One Corner which was to go viral beyond the borders of Ghana.

Many music enthusiasts predicted a demise of Patapaa’s career when One Corner fades. However, over the past months, Patapaa has proven critics wrong by projecting himself as an artiste whose dominance of the airwaves will not last for a fleeting period but will be privileged with some sustainability.

His penchant for feeding the masses with commercially appetizing records has earned him several collaborations with artistes including GuiltyBeatz, Medikal, Flowking Stone, Article Wan and Kawoula Biov.

The most recent hit record which features Patapaa is the one by Kawoula Biov dubbed Daavi Neba. Below is the official video for the song:

The content of this song is basically about pouring out compliments on the daughter of a Daavi – the song underscores the Ghanaian masses’ preference for very danceable commercial records. The most enthralling part of the song is the verse Patapaa laid. Even though there is an apparent misunderstanding of the lyrics Patapaa employed, many Ghanaians have not allowed their inability to understand the lyrics inhibit them from being extremely excited anytime Patapaa’s verse pops up.

In the past few weeks, social media has been flooded with videos of some music enthusiasts attempting to deliver the verse Patapaa laid on Daavi Neba. This trend has been termed as the Skopatumana Challenge. Skopatumana is one of the words Patapaa is heard using in his verse on the song. Below are a number of such videos:
