Ayalah Deborah Bentovim, better known by her stage name Sister Bliss, is a British pianist, record producer, DJ, and songwriter. She was born on December 30, 1970. She is best known in the studio for her collaborations with Rollo Armstrong as Sister Bliss, a production team, and in particular for their work on the film Faithless.

Faithless was founded in 1995 by Sister Bliss, Rollo, Jamie Catto, and Maxi Jazz. Over the years, other others have participated and worked with us. In their 17-year history, Faithless released seven albums, two of which peaked at number one, as well as six top 10 singles.

She was inspired to start the band after remixing Moby’s “That’s When I Reach for My Revolver” in 1996. The track “Nate’s Tune” is dedicated to her son, who she gave birth to in 2006.

Sister Bliss has worked with a variety of artists, including Dido, Boy George, Cat Power, Robert Smith (of The Cure), The Temper Trap, and Example. Among his credits are the Rob Lowe-starring 2012 movie Knife Fight and commissions for Sex and the City 2 and Danny Boyle’s The Beach.

Her current record company, Junkdog Records, was established in 2013. She has released both original songs and remixes of other people’s music.

In 2014, she went by the moniker Bliss and released the mid-tempo house song “Dancing Home,” which Tuff City Kids and Yoon remixed.
