Sidney Jones IV is an American football cornerback for the National Football League’s Seattle Seahawks (NFL). He attended Washington University and played football there.
Jones graduated from West Covina High School in California. He was a wide receiver, runner, cornerback, and free safety.
He initially committed to play collegiate football at the University of Utah, but then switched to the University of Washington.

Jones started all 13 games as a sophomore in 2015 and was selected first-team All-Pac-12 after posting 45 tackles, four interceptions, and a score. Jones announced his intention to forego his senior year and join the NFL Draft on January 3, 2017.
Jones underwent surgery on March 21, 2017, to repair a torn Achilles, which he sustained on a pro day.
