Shioli lives in Japan where she goes about her acting career and other businesses. However, she spent the first fourteen years of her life in Australia before moving to Japan to pursue a career as a model and actress.

Shioli was born on December 22, 1992, in Killarney Heights, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Shioli graduated from Horikoshi High School with colleague actresses Mayuko Kawakita and Riko Narumi in 2011.

In 2009, she had her first major starring role. She played the part of Tsugumi Nitobe in 7 Mannin Tantei Nitobe (70 000 People Detective Nitobe), an ordinary college student who has 70,000 friends on the Internet and solves difficult cases by using their brains.

Shioli dropped out of college in 2013 after her second year to concentrate on her acting career. This was due to the fact that she was finding it difficult to blend acting in dramas and going to studies. She then let go of school to concentrate on acting.
