South African professional golfer Shaun Patrick Norris was born on May 14, 1982. In his two victories on the Sunshine Tour, Norris competes there. In 2008, he won the first Africa Open, and in 2011, he won the Nashua Masters. After completing qualifying school, he also started competing on the European Tour in 2011. Additionally, he has competed on the Asian Tour and the Japan Golf Tour, where he has won five times, including the 2017 Mori Building Cup Shishido Hills Championship. In 2021, he also triumphed at the Japan Open.
Norris won the Steyn City Championship, a tournament co-sanctioned by the European and Sunshine Tours, in March 2022 to earn his maiden European Tour victory. To defeat Dean Burmester by three strokes, he shot rounds of 64 and 62. Norris won the Sunshine Tour Order of Merit for the 2021–22 campaign in May.
