Shaun Micheel is only the second US Open golfer to make a double eagle (albatross). It happened on the sixth hole in the final round of the US Open in 2010.

Micheel has the most starts till the end of the 2018–19 season of any golfer whose single victory has been a major. He last played a full season in 2011, when he participated as a prior champion in the PGA Championship and other events.
