The world’s most popular search engine, Google has released the official list of top trending topics for the year 2017.
The trends cover varieties of topics ranging from popular figures to news items.
The most searched music chart has been released with Shatta Wale topping it for the second time in a row.
The controversial Dancehall musician dominated this year’s chart with 3 of his hit singles namely “Taking Over”, “Ayoo”, and “Forgetti”.
Interestingly, Nigerian acts, Davido and Runtown, found their songs in the list. This means, Ghanaians were interested in Nigerian music this year.
