Dancehall musician Shatta Wale fulfiled his promise and was up to the task last night (October 13) at the Fantasy Dome, Trade Fair Centre in Accra.

After the massive social media, radio and TV hype, Shatta Wale pulled a mammoth crowd to witness the official launch of his highly anticipated studio album, titled “Reign”.

Prior to the launch, the Zylofon Music signee had gone on radio and TV bragging about his ability to host the entire show by himself without the support of his fellow artistes.

He revealed on Zylofon FM hours to the album concert that only Medikal and Keche showed interest in supporting him but didn’t confirm their appearance. Perhaps, he personally turned down their request to fulfil his promise.

And yes, he did it. Over 20,000 of Shatta Movement Family fans across the country thronged the venue to show support to their leader, according to several reports.

Hosted by MC DKB, the show only saw performances from Zylofon Arts Club’s up and coming artistes and Gospel musician Ramsey.

Shatta Wale treated his fans to his old songs as well as some songs off his latest album.
