Hours ago, rapper Sarkodie’s record label, SarkCess Music announced the end of their contractual relationship with Kumasi-based rapper, Strongman Burner.
There have been varied reactions in the public domain following the announcement by SarkCess Music. Controversial dance hall artiste, Shatta Wale appears to have commented on the announcement Sarkodie’s record label made on their relationship with Strongman.
In a tweet he delivered, the Gringo hit maker apparently mocked Sarkodie for not being financially endowed enough. According to him, artistes who bear financial muscles are able to support talents without stress. He described the nurturing of signees as an investment an artiste makes with the money he has garnered from the expression of his craft.
He further posited that if an artiste is therefore unable to financially support a signee to gain mainstream presence, then the artiste or the CEO of the record label is financially impaired. Below is Shatta Wale’s said tweet:
If u get money as an artiste
You won’t worry when pushing a talent ..it’s an investment from the money you have made but if you can’t push then my nigga you broke ass😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣— SHATTA WALE (@shattawalegh) April 15, 2019
