Shane Keith Warne, a 52-year-old Australian cricketer, was born on September 13, 1969, and died on March 4, 2022.
In One Day Internationals, he led the Australian national squad.
Widely regarded as one of the best cricket bowlers of all time. In the 1994 Wisden Cricketers’ Almanack, Warne was selected one of the Wisden Cricketers of the Year.
In 1997, he was named the World’s Leading Cricketer by Wisden.
In 2003, he was suspended from the sport after testing positive for a banned drug.
In the 2005 Wisden Cricketers’ Almanack, he was named Wisden Leading Cricketer in the World for the year 2004.
He was named one of the five Wisden Cricketers of the Century by a panel of cricket experts in 2000. He died on March 4, 2022, from a suspected heart attack.
