Sergio Osuna is an actor with more than 15 years of experience who is originally from Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico.
Aside from graduating from VFS’s Acting for Film and Television course, he pursued further training under Kate Twa at the Railtown Actor’s Studio.
Mexican actor Sergio Osuna is most known for playing Rafe in The Magicians (2015)’s final four seasons, as well as for his recurring roles as Glen in Colony (2016)’s final season and Hector in Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency (2016). The eagerly awaited Netflix adventure movie Slumberland (2022), starring Jason Momoa and directed by Francis Lawrence, is one of Sergio’s most recent commitments.
Little Nemo in Slumberland, a comic strip by Winsor McCay that was initially printed more than a century ago, serves as the basis for Slumberland. However, this new Netflix adaptation, from Hunger Games director Francis Lawrence, switches the protagonist’s gender and centers the story around topics that are the stuff of real-life nightmares: death and grief! The original work of fiction was focused on a young boy’s adventures in the world of dreams and his friendship with a princess.
