Outgoing President John Dramani Mahama has wished Ghanaians a Happy New Year.
The President took to Facebook to wish Ghanaians a Happy New Year and reminded Ghanaians of the fact that the country turns sixty this year.
The President expressed his gratefulness to Ghanaians for the opportunity given to him to serve as President and the fact that the country accomplished a lot under his tenure.
His Facebook post read :” Good morning fellow Ghanaians. Once again, we’ve entered a New Year, a year in which our beloved Ghana will turn 60. In this season of love, sharing, goodwill and reflection, I am thankful for our time together and for what we have accomplished. Happy New Year”.
President John Dramani Mahama hands over office to President-Elect Nana Akufo-Addo on January 7 after he lost the December 7 election to the New Patriotic Party.
