Sean Rice, born on July 20, 1972, in Oakville, Canada, was a popular Canadian pair skater who also competed in the discipline of the four.
Sean Rice was with Jodeyne Higgins, a two-time Canadian pairs bronze medallist, and four-time Canadian fours champion.
Sean Rice also made appearances on ITV’s Dancing On Ice. Sean Rice sadly died on January 14, 2022.
Frankie Poultney, who is Sean Rice’s fellow staker shared the sad news on Twitter. She wrote “Pro skaters are heartbroken today, we lost a truly larger-than-life great – an epic skater, a husband, father, and my friend of 20 years.’
“Gone too soon, but we will love you for a thousand years.”
