American professional golfer Scott Michael Dunlap, born August 16, 1963, presently competes on the PGA Tour Champions after formerly playing on the PGA Tour.
Dunlap was raised in Sarasota, Florida, while being born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Sarasota High School as valedictorian in the year 1981. He then took a golf scholarship to study at the University of Florida in Gainesville, where he competed for the Florida Gators men’s golf team from 1982 to 1985.

Dunlap won his maiden championship at the Boeing Classic in Seattle that August, defeating Mark Brooks on the first hole of a sudden-death playoff. Dunlap turned 50 in August 2013 and started competing on the Champions Tour full-time in 2014.
Dunlap’s second shot at the par-5 18th came to rest four feet (1.3 meters) from the hole. Brooks missed a 30-foot (9-meter) birdie shot, and Dunlap two-putted for the victory.
Along with the trophy and a $300,000 prize, the winner also received a leather flying jacket.
