Fast-rising rapper, Ypee has disclosed that multiple award-winning rapper, Sarkodie charged him an amount which was not less than US$7000.00 for his verse on the Mey3 Guy remix and an appearance in the official video for the song.
He made this disclosure in an interview with Arnold Mensah Elavanyo, host of Vibes in 5, a social media celebrity talk show. He was initially hesitant in disclosing the figure Sarkodie charged him for the feature but later disclosed in the course of the interview that the highly decorated rapper charged him an amount not less than US$ 7000.00.

When asked why he spent such an amount as an up and coming rapper to feature Sarkodie rather than using the money to record more songs and shoot more videos, Ypee answered that it was a worthy investment to make because Sarkodie, in his opinion is the biggest artiste in Ghana, hence his impact on the song will inure immensely to the development of the up and coming rapper’s brand.
He further revealed that it was not challenging for him to host Medikal on the song due to engagements he has had with the Sowutuom-based rapper in the past, but for Sarkodie, it was otherwise.
