Minister for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Madam Catherine Afeku has hailed BET Award-winning rapper Sarkodie.
According to the minister, the SarkCess Music record label owner is a business minded person and likes his brand as well.
She made this statement during an interview on Starr Chat Wednesday, June 13.
When quizzed which artiste brand she would go for, she made it clear that she supports two of Ghana’s most popular brands; Shatta Movement and BHIM Nation, but would choose Sarkodie ahead of them.
She said Sarkodie knows where she wants the Ghanaian music industry to go.
She stated that “I’m for Shatta Movement and Bhim Nation but I’ll go for Sarkodie. I think he has that business mind as to where he wants the music industry to go. I like his brand too.”
