Spanish professional golfer Santiago Luna Torres was born on November 29, 1962.
At Madrid’s Puerta de Hierro Golf Club, Luna’s father worked as a member of the staff.
He became a professional in 1982, and since then, he has competed in more than 500 events over the course of more than twenty years on the European Tour. Twelve times, with a best finish of 31st place in 1998, he was in the top 100 on the Order of Merit. He only has one victory on the European Tour, which he attained in 1995 at the Madeira Island Open, although he has a number of triumphs in other competitive events.
