According to Sanger police, a guy is in the hospital with significant burns after a lady set fire to him. Patricia Castillo, 48, and Leonard Hawkins, 43, have both been detained by police.
The sufferer is currently being treated in a nearby hospital and is likely to live.
The event occurred on Thursday at 8:30 p.m. near Sanger Park on Academy Avenue.
According to security video, Castillo approached the victim and threw a liquid from a cup at him. She and the victim then appear to dispute before Castillo ignites a lighter and sets fire to the victim.
Investigators believe Hawkins provided her with the accelerant.
