Chloe Rebecca Smith, a British politician born on May 17, 1982, has held the position of Secretary of State for Work and Pensions since 2022. She served as Minister of State for Disabled People, Work, and Health from 2021 to 2022.
Since 2009, she has represented Norwich North as a member of parliament (MP) for the Conservative Party.

Mr McFadzean married Ms Smith, a minister in the Cabinet Office, in 2013.
Mr. McFadzean is the vice president of the financial institution Credit Suisse.
They both welcomed their first child, a boy, in 2016. Their second child, a girl, was born in 2019.

Smith was born in Ashford, Kent, and when she was three years old, her family relocated to Norfolk.
She was raised in Stoke Ferry and attended comprehensive schools in Swaffham and Methwold.
